Hi, I'm Andrew Ahn, founder and CEO of Praxi.

I launched Praxi because I saw firsthand how businesses in highly-regulated industries like insurance, life sciences and financial services struggled to unlock real value from their vast stores of unstructured and dark data.

Too often, critical information remained hidden or underutilized, creating compliance headaches, operational inefficiencies, and missed opportunities.

Having spent over 15 years building enterprise data solutions - including roles like

  • NYSE Euronext, Chief Data Office, supporting legal and regulatory (spin-off into FINRA) groups.

  • Director of Project Management for Governance at Hortonworks

  • VP of Product Management at Waterline Data (Hitachi Vantara)

My work leading projects like Apache Atlas, an open-source data governance platform, reinforced my belief in automation as the key to transforming data chaos into actionable insights. I recognized the urgent need for a scalable, AI-driven data curation solution.

Starting Praxi in 2018 wasn't just about technology; it was personal.
